At-a-Glance
Please note: The information detailed is based on
information surveys received from the admissions offices and
Internet searches of official campus Web sites. Every effort

January 2008 Counselor Update Newsletter
CFNC is proud to announce that the January 2008 issue of Counselor Update is
now available for download. This special edition highlights the FAFSA Day
program that will take place on February 9, 2008 at 56 locations across
North Carolina. The complete list of FAFSA Day sites can be found at

- December 2007 Counselor Update
Newsletter
CFNC is proud to announce that the December 2007 issue of
Counselor Update is now available for download. This edition
focuses on financial aid programs administered by the State
Education Assistance Authority (SEAA) and also includes
information about FAFSA Day and the summer counselor internship
program.
- SEAA Programs for College Freshmen
The SEAA College Freshman Grant Programs list is now available
to view or print. This document contains a list of SEAA
administered Grant Programs available to College Freshman in
the 2008-2009 academic year. Information detailed in the
document includes: The type of grant, qualifying institutions,
grant award amount(s), and requirements.
- September 2007 Counselor Update
Newsletter
CFNC is proud to announce that the September 2007 issue of
Counselor Update is now available for download. In this issue,
you will find information on the FAFSA, Scholarships, Grants,
and Admissions Applications Deadlines.
- News Alert: Paper FAFSAs Will No Longer
Be Distributed to Schools
The U.S. Department of Education announced on September 13,
2007 that the 2008-2009 FAFSAs will not be
available for schools to order via FSAPubs. Students will be
able to obtain a paper FAFSA by calling the Federal Student Aid
Information Center (FSAIC) toll-free at 1-800-4-FED-AID
(1-800-433-3243). In addition, the Department will make
available a PDF version of the 2008-2009 FAFSA that students
can complete - either on the computer or by hand - and mail to
the Department for processing. Click the link above for more
